Pair the Bonnie Prince Charlie jacket and waistcoat with the Modern Robertson trews and you have a serious look on your hands. Whether you call them Trousers, Trews or Triubhas it doesn't matter, you'll come to the same conclusion; they're a mighty fine bit of kit and quite the black tie ensemble.
Take a true waist measurement for the trews (around the belly button). They sit higher on the waist. As long as the waistcoat covers the top of the trousers, the belt isn't essential wearing a. Always wear a bow tie with the low three button waistcoat.

Will not hire from Rathbones again."
